Rachel Crawford has over 10 years' experience working with brands to hone their strategy and messaging, visual design, and digital strategy. As the web began to evolve with the democratization of content management systems and the proliferation of devices, she saw that without a solid structural and editorial foundation, organizations were failing to meet their marketing and business objectives. 

She founded Scratch Consulting in 2012 to in order to work directly with nonprofits, businesses, and small agencies to build better digital tools and platforms, starting with smart content. 

Recent clients include Vitamin Angels, a global nonprofit dedicated to helping women and children around the world access life-saving vitamins; Immigration Advocates Network, an organization increasing access to legal justice through the development of online platforms and tools (including immi and Citizenshipworks); and Down to Earth Markets, a company that has been supporting the growth of local agriculture and small food businesses for over 25 years by managing 15 farmers' markets in the greater New York area.
